Culture Shock
Culture shock shows up in funny ways, and this time abroad, I'm finding myself at times more "shocked" by what I don't know about America than by what I'm learning in Italy. For instance, I learned a new English verb from my classmates who are in their early twenties: to pregame. So is it me being Almost Thirty, or has nobody else reading this heard of this before? It basically means to drink at home before going out, and by the implicit economics of this definition, you understand why it's popular among American college students. (I did not take this photo by the way).
